A last-minute equaliser by substitute Lois Maynard helped Salford salvage a late 1-1 draw at Eastleigh and extend their unbeaten league run to 16.
Josh Hare went close early on for the hosts, but saw his drive well saved by Chris Neal.
Salford also had chances in a flurried opening phase.
Andrew Boyce’s header back found Alex Wynter in the box, but the Spitfires defender shot over.
Early in the second half, Mark Yeates made an inspired run into the Salford box. His shot was saved by Neal, but Ben Williamson tapped in to give Eastleigh the lead.
The hosts remained in charge, but Salford showed their tenacity when Maynard rifled in from distance late on.
