Ross County lose top spot after being held at Falkirk

Bottom side Falkirk held Ladbrokes Championship leaders Ross County to a 1-1 draw.
Ray McKinnon’s side had won just one previous game this season, losing all of their other league games including their last three, but looked set to shock County thanks to Don Cowie’s first-half own goal.
Deimantas Petravicius’ 26th-minute cross was headed past Scott Fox as Cowie attempted to clear.
The hosts had to withstand wave after wave of County pressure, especially after the break as Davis Keillor-Dunn and Ross Draper has efforts saved by Falkirk keeper David Mitchell.
But the equaliser came 12 minutes from time courtesy of Iain Vigurs who curled a delightful effort in off the post from the edge of the box.
Falkirk remain rooted to the foot of the table, while Ayr jump above County to the top of the table thanks to their 3-0 victory over Alloa.
