Salford surged to the top of the Vanarama National League with a 3-1 comeback win against Barnet at the Hive Stadium.
John Still’s hosts struck late in the first half when Cheye Alexander charged down the right and crossed for Wesley Fonguck to angle in his fourth goal in three games.
However, there were still three minutes left for Rory Gaffney to redirect Nathan Pond’s cross into the corner for a Salford leveller.
It proved pivotal as, within a couple of minutes of the resumption, Dan Lloyd-McGoldrick’s shot was blocked by Dan Sweeney and Tom Walker dispatched the rebound.
Mark Shelton then arrived late in the box to convert Scott Wiseman’s cross and put the match beyond Barnet.
