Queen of the South heap more woe on Falkirk

Two goals in as many second-half minutes helped Queen of the South to a 2-0 victory over the Ladbrokes Championship’s bottom side Falkirk.
Mikey Doyle headed in the opener in the 52nd minute after being well picked out by Andy Stirling.
And just two minutes later the hosts had their second as Jordan Marshall burst forward from full-back before rifling a superb strike in at the near post from 20 yards.
Steven Dobbie had earlier missed the chance to give Queens the lead from the penalty spot, seeing his effort kept out by David Mitchell after Prince Buaben had brought down Dobbie.
He was denied by Mitchell again after the break and also crashed an effort against the bar after 67 minutes, but it was to prove irrelevant as Queens eased to the victory which moves them up to fourth.
Falkirk have now lost nine of their 10 league games this season and remain rooted to the foot of the table.
