Dundee United maintained their promotion push with a 2-0 win at Dunfermline in the Ladbrokes Championship.
Goals from Paul McMullan and Billy King gave the visitors all three points at East End Park.
McMullan gave the visitors the lead midway through the first half, converting Fraser Aird’s cross at the near post.
Dunfermline’s best chance of the first half came just before the interval when Faissal El-Bakhtaoui saw a shot from a Myles Hippolyte throw-in blocked, before Lee Ashcroft put the rebound wide.
United’s advantage was doubled on the hour when Billy King received the ball from McMullan and blasted a shot high into the net past pars goalkeeper Lee Robinson.
El-Bakhtaoui fired over with 20 minutes remaining and defender Tom Beadling did the same, before Andy Ryan saw a late shot saved by United goalkeeper Benjamin Siegrist.
The result means Dunfermline are without a win against the Tannadice side since August 2011.
