Kelvin Langmead salvages point for Harrogate

Kelvin Langmead celebrated his new contract by earning a point for Harrogate with a goal four minutes into stoppage time that sealed a 2-2 draw with Dover.
The defender was one of three Town players to sign a new deal on the eve of the game, but it looked like being a deflating afternoon for the high-flying home side as Inih Effiong’s second-half double put lowly Dover in front.
But Langmead’s second goal of the season earned Simon Weaver’s men a point and denied the visitors what would have been just a second win this term.
It seemed to be a case of business as usual at the CNG Stadium when Aaron Williams scored from a Callum Howe knock-down (26) for his third goal in three.
Effiong then took over, swivelling in the box and finishing a minute into the second half.
He then completed the turnaround when he showed good feet before unleashing an effort that was deflected in 24 minutes from time.
But Langmead met a late cross from Liam Kitching to score, before Anthony Jeffrey saw red for Dover.
