Bromley extend unbeaten run

Bromley extended their unbeaten run to three games as they secured a 1-0 Vanarama National League win at Maidstone.
Bromley went ahead after 11 minutes when Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe got on the end of an inviting cross from Sam Wood to stoop and head past Lee Worgan.
David Gregory then made a superb save to prevent Maidstone drawing level. The ball dropped for Blair Turgott in the box and his volley was destined for the bottom corner before Gregory produced a fine reaction save.
And moments later he repeated the trick as he tipped another Turgott effort away.
Bromley came close to doubling the lead five minutes before the break when Ogedi-Uzokwe played through Bobby-Joe Taylor but he saw his shot come back off the base of the post.
Maidstone came within inches of snatching a draw when they hit the woodwork twice within a minute in the latter stages.
First, Oliver Muldoon’s 35-yard free-kick rattled the crossbar in the 84th minute before Jack Paxman cut inside and saw his effort hit the post.
