Chesterfield settle for stalemate

Chesterfield had to settle for a point and a 0-0 draw despite having plenty of possession against Fylde in the Vanarama National League on Saturday.
Curtis Weston wasted a good chance in the first half when he headed wide.
Chesterfield went close just before half-time when Jerome Binnom-Williams curled his free-kick to the far post but Weston headed off target when well-placed.
Fylde’s best chance of the first half came just before the break but Joe Cardle fired over from a few yards out.
Both sides battled hard to find a winner in the second half but had to settle for a share of the spoils.
