Leeds United vs Brentford - Injured Barry Douglas missing for Leeds
Posted Friday, October 05, 2018 by PA
Leeds will be without defender Barry Douglas for their home game against Brentford.
The left-back sustained a hamstring injury during the midweek win at Hull and will be sidelined until after the international break.
Head coach Marcelo Bielsa has no other new injuries, but striker Kemar Roofe (calf), midfielder Pablo Hernandez (hamstring) and defender Gaetano Berardi (knee) are still unavailable.
Striker Patrick Bamford will be out until the new year after damaging knee ligaments during an under-23s’ game last month.
Brentford pair Said Benrahma and Ollie Watkins are available again and are expected to feature.
Benrahma missed Tuesday’s home draw against Birmingham through suspension and fellow forward Watkins was out with a toe injury.
Manager Dean Smith must decide whether to recall Daniel Bentley in goal or stick with Luke Daniels after dropping the former in midweek.
Sergi Canos and Alan Judge are hoping to retain their starting places after returning against Birmingham, while Rico Henry (knee) remains a long-term absentee.
