Forte pushing for return for Exeter

Jonathan Forte will be pushing hard for a return to action when Exeter host Stevenage in League Two on Tuesday.
Experienced striker Forte has remained an unused replacement for the Grecians’ last two matches, including Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Port Vale, having shaken off a hamstring injury.
Defenders Troy Brown and Craig Woodman remain long-term absentees with knee injuries.
Boss Matt Taylor could rotate his resources slightly to keep his players fresh after Saturday.
James Ball will be hoping to be sharp enough for Stevenage to contest for a place in the starting XI down in Devon.
The midfielder limped out of the recent draw at Notts County, then has remained an unused replacement for the last two matches, including Saturday’s 1-0 win at Carlisle.
Manager Dino Maamria could well look to keep faith with the bulk of the players who pulled off that victory on the road.
Kurtis Guthrie is another pushing for a start, having come off the bench at Carlise at the weekend.
