Defensive worries for Colchester ahead of Yeovil clash

Colchester could be light in defence for the home clash with Yeovil after Frankie Kent and Tom Eastman sustained injuries in the weekend defeat to Bury.
The centre-back pairing went off in the first half of the 2-1 loss, Kent after clashing with Chris Stokes in the ninth minute.
His replacement, Eastman, failed to appear for the second half as the U’s slipped to only their second defeat of the season.
Tom Lapslie is edging closer to fitness after appearing for the Under-23s last week following a knee operation, but this game is likely to come too soon.
Midfielder Alex Pattison is the latest name to join Yeovil’s lengthy injury list.
He was forced off after 34 minutes of the Glovers’ defeat at Crawley and will be assessed.
Diallang Jaiyesimi is unlikely to be involved after he underwent scans on a knee injury sustained against MK Dons, with Omar Sowunmi also struggling with an ankle problem he suffered in the same game.
Rhys Browne and Jake Gray were handed their first league starts of the season against the Reds and should continue, but Stuart Nelson, James Bailey, Francois Zoko, Gary Warren, Wes McDonald and Alefe Santos remain sidelined.
