Danny Rowe’s eighth goal of the season and first in six games helped AFC Fylde comfortably beat Braintree 3-0 at home in the National League.
The 28-year-old striker scored the Coasters’ third when he nodded a cross from Joe Cardle into the near corner.
Fylde’s opener came in the 11th minute when a loose ball fell to Serhat Tasdemir, who beat a defender and slotted into the bottom left-hand corner from 15 yards.
Towards the end of the first half, referee Peter Gibbons had to be replaced by the fourth official after sustaining an injury.
Bottom-side Braintree had a chance to level when Joe Ellul was left unmarked but a great save by keeper Jay Lynch denied the defender.
Danny Philliskirk added a second for Fylde five minutes after the break when he met an Arlen Birch cross and headed into the top corner before Rowe wrapped up the points in the 68th minute.
