Solitary Beavon strike enough for Wrexham to beat Barnet

Stuart Beavon helped Wrexham return to winning ways in the Vanarama National League with the only goal against Barnet at the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham went close after 15 minutes but after being put through Maguire Drew shot wide when one on one with the goalkeeper.
Barnet were forced to defend three corners in quick succession and did just enough to keep Wrexham at bay but the home side finally broke the deadlock three minutes before the break when Beavon tucked the ball under the keeper.
Beavon and Drew both went close with chances early in the second half but the home side could not add to their tally despite dominating.
