Antoine Griezmann ended a run of 389 minutes without a goal at the Wanda Metropolitana with the opening goal against Huesca.
The Frenchman got the first goal at Atletico Madrid's new stadium against Rayo Vallecano but since then he has had no fortune in front of goal in any competition.
That goal against Rayo led to Atletico picking up three points and now once again he has scored from an assist by Diego Costa.
Griezmann went four games without a goal against Celta, Eibar, Getafe and Monaco.
