Quickfire goals clinch three points for Gateshead

Gateshead staged a smash and grab either side of the interval to return from Barrow with a 2-1 win.
The home side had already rattled the post before a good ball from Luke Burgess broke the visitors’ offside trap and Tyler Smith kept his cool to curl past Aynsley Pears.
However, the Tynesiders changed the tenor of the half-time team talks on the stroke of the interval.
Luke Molyneux crossed for Scott Boden to side foot his third goal in the space of four days.
And Gateshead built on the momentum shift early after the break when Robbie Tinkler found Greg Olley in too much space to slot the winner past Andy Firth.
They had a goal disallowed shortly after but after being forced to defend in the closing stages, held on to claim the win.
