Tiffoney sparkles at the death as Morton force draw

A speculative effort late on from Scott Tiffoney rescued a point from a 1-1 draw as Morton held Dunfermline.
In a quiet first half, the best chance fell to Morton’s Jack Iredale, who forced a fine stop from Dunfermline goalkeeper Lee Robinson.
After the break, Dunfermline threatened and it took a smart block from Ryan Scully to stop Andy Ryan breaking the deadlock.
Morton did not take heed of the warning and Louis Longridge created a similar chance for Ryan in the 68th minute. This time the striker made no mistake and slotted the ball past Scully.
Dunfermline were on course for their first win since the opening day of the season until Tiffoney’s shot from distance caught out Robinson for an unlikely equaliser in the 81st minute.
