A torrid first half for Wrexham at Sutton United saw them suffer their second defeat of the season as they went down 3-0.
Sutton were awarded a penalty after 13 minutes when Shaun Pearson was penalised for holding Charlie Clough from a corner. Jamie Collins converted past Rob Lainton with a well hit spot-kick.
The hosts were in control and had their second goal on 35 minutes. The Wrexham defence failed to clear Aswad Thomas’ cross leaving Kieron Cadogan with an easy finish.
Things went from bad to worse for Wrexham just before the break when Luke Summerfield was shown a straight red card for a foul on Jonah Ayunga.
Craig Eastmond added Sutton’s third after the interval to make sure of the three points.
