Derby County vs Brentford - Curtis Davies and George Evans still injured for Derby
Posted Friday, September 21, 2018 by PA
Derby will again be without captain Curtis Davies and George Evans when they host Brentford at Pride Park on Saturday.
Defender Davies (hamstring) has been out since the opening game of the season, while midfielder Evans is recovering from the knee injury he sustained making his Championship debut for the Rams against Ipswich a month ago.
Derby have no new injury issues but forward Tom Lawrence remains out as he serves the second game of a three-match suspension following his red card in the defeat at Rotherham last weekend.
Long-term absentee Marcus Olsson is continuing his recovery from a knee injury.
Brentford boss Dean Smith must decide whether to freshen up his side.
Smith made one change at Ipswich in midweek, with Kamohelo Mokotjo replacing Lewis MacLeod, as their three-match winning run was halted by a 1-1 draw.
Defender Rico Henry has resumed light training following a serious knee injury, but is not yet expected to be involved.
Full-back Moses Odubajo, also working his way to full match fitness after a long-term knee problem, has featured for the Bees’ B side and could soon be available for a belated debut.
