Man City defender Aymeric Laporte declares international choice

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has committed to France.

At this today's Champions League media conference, Laporte was asked about his international future as he also qualifies for Spain.

He said, "I haven't had any news either way and what was said with regard to me playing for Spain, it never happened and I don't think it will happen. It's probably not possible.

"If anything, I will play for France if I get selected but that's up to the manager rather than me."
