Dan Sweeney’s first-half header earned 10-man Barnet a 1-0 victory at Bromley.
Sweeney turned in his first goal for the club after 21 minutes at Hayes Lane but Bromley almost replied immediately as George Porter hit the post.
Barnet also hit the woodwork through Wesley Fonguck and Jack Barham, with the latter’s shot bouncing down off the crossbar but not crossing the line.
The visitors had to play out the closing stages without David Tutonda after the Congolese defender received a second yellow card four minutes from time.
