Jamal Fyfield heads Boreham Wood to victory

Jamal Fyfield’s early header handed Boreham Wood a 1-0 victory over Chesterfield in the Vanarama National League.
Fyfield looped an effort over Callum Burton after eight minutes at Meadow Park, the ball having been headed back into the area by Mark Ricketts following a clearance.
Chesterfield had a number of opportunities to force an equaliser but were unable to find a way past Ryan Huddart.
Zavon Hines went close for the Spireites when he struck the post from a free-kick on the hour while Curtis Weston had a last-gasp effort blocked in injury time.
