Messi makes trip to Germany to see adidas sponsors

Lionel Messi made a flying trip to Germany to speak with adidas representatives, the sports company for whom he is a key brand name.

The journey did not see him miss training with Barcelona and he worked out with the players who have not joined their national teams.

He travelled to Germany with his wife Antonella. Messi announced after the World Cup that he wanted to take some time out from playing international football.
