Inverness climbed to second place in the Scottish Championship standings thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win at Dunfermline.
Shaun Rooney scored his first goal for Inverness in the 50th minute after Sean Walsh had fired in a superb ball and the defender headed it past goalkeeper Lee Robinson.
Jordan White headed narrowly over the bar from Carl Tremarco’s ball seven minutes later but Liam Polworth made it 2-0 to the visitors in the 71st minute after a counter-attack.
Substitute George Oakley added the gloss to the win after sliding in Aaron Doran’s backheel flick in the 82nd minute to send the Pars to a fourth successive loss in the league after a promising start to the season.
Caley on the other hand, picked up their first win in three to keep themselves near the top of the table.
