High-flying Fylde take point on the road with Sutton stalemate

It was a battle of attrition at Gander Green Lane between Sutton and Fylde and matters always looked destined to end goalless.
In the first period, Daniel Wishart forced visiting keeper Jay Lynch into action with a header, while at the other end Tom Bolarinwa caused concern with a fine run and drilled effort that flashed wide.
Sutton made a double change with 20 minutes to go to spice matters up. Craig Eastmond did find the net, but had strayed too far of the last defender.
Late on, Jamie Collins forced Jay Lynch to save deep and low down to keep Fylde in it and ensure that both sides remain unbeaten near the top.
