Wycombe came back from going 1-0 down after four minutes to draw 1-1 at Plymouth in League One.
Argyle took the lead through summer signing Freddie Ladapo, who clipped the ball over the advancing Ryan Allsop as he tried to narrow the Plymouth striker’s angle.
Matt Bloomfield forced a full-stretch save from Argyle’s on-loan Arsenal keeper Matt Macey on 16 minutes.
Bryn Morris sent a 25-yard effort just wide in the 49th minute as Wanderers sought a leveller.
Allsop saved from Graham Carey as the Plymouth playmaker looked set to score on 57 minutes, after chesting down a far post Joel Grant cross and shooting.
Wycombe striker Craig Mackail-Smith hit the post from an acute angle on the hour and then Tafari Moore’s rising drive was superbly saved by Macey as Wycombe piled on the pressure.
Wycombe levelled when Bloomfield fired home from an acute angle on 84 minutes after being teed up by substitute Adebayo Akinfenwa.
Substitute Scott Kashket’s 88th-minute strike beat Macey but hit the inside of the far post and bounced back to the keeper.
