Newly-promoted Harrogate claimed their first victory in the Vanarama National League with a 2-0 home win against Barnet.
Harrogate pressed from the start and were rewarded after 23 minutes when Jack Emmett sweetly struck a bouncing ball past Bees goalkeeper Mark Cousins.
Defender Liam Kitching doubled Harrogate’s lead within three minutes after Callum Howe headed Joe Leesley’s corner back across goal.
Barnet’s hopes of getting back into the game faded after Harrogate goalkeeper James Belshaw saved Shaquile Coulthirst’s 52nd-minute penalty.
