Another clean sheet for Wrexham as they sweep aside Maidenhead

Wrexham created club history in moving to the top of the Vanarama National League with a 2-0 win at Maidenhead.
New boss Sam Ricketts has had a dream start to management with four clean sheets – the first time the Dragons have managed that in the first four games of a season.
Wrexham were always in control after Mike Fondop’s third goal of the season opened the scoring in the 13th minute.
Jordan Maguire-Drew, on loan from Brighton, doubled the Dragons’ lead with a 25-yard shot after 26 minutes.
Ryan Bird went close for the hosts before half-time, but Maidenhead are now bottom of the table with only one point from four games.
