Green stunner sets Eastleigh on their way to win at Barnet

Eastleigh picked up their first points of the season after recording a 2-1 victory at relegated Barnet.
The Spitfires were beaten by Solihull and Sutton in their opening two matches, but Michael Green’s stunning first-half strike set them on their way to a morale-boosting win at The Hive.
Full-back Green found the top corner with a thunderbolt after the ball fell to him 25 yards out.
Visiting goalkeeper Graham Stack denied Shaquile Coulthirst one-on-one to keep Eastleigh ahead, and Paul McCallum’s second-half strike ensured the points would be heading back to Hampshire.
Josh Hare floated a free-kick towards the far post and McCallum got on the end of it to head past Mark Cousins.
Barnet pulled a goal back through Charlee Adams at the death, but it was too little too late as the Bees were left still searching for their first win since dropping back into non-league.
