Halifax moved top of the Vanarama National League thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over Maidstone.

The midfielder claimed the goal after the ball took a wicked deflection to beat Maidstone keeper Lee Worgan.
Halifax doubled their lead early in the second half after Ben Tomlinson rifled the ball in at the near post.
The Shayman put the game out of Maidstone’s reach in the 71st minute when Dayle Southwell slotted a calm and composed penalty after Jonathan Edwards was fouled by Jordan Wynter.
