Hindle at the double for Barrow
Posted Sunday, August 05, 2018 by PA
Jack Hindle scored twice as Barrow secured all three points with a 3-0 home win over Havant and Waterlooville in the National League.
Barrow took the lead just before half-time when Hindle made space on the edge of the area before firing home.
New signing Tyler Smith made it 2-0 to the home side when he tapped into an empty net following a mix-up in the Havant defence.
Wes Fogden could have pulled a goal back for the visitors after 57 minutes but his volley from near the penalty spot was well saved.
Havant were unlucky when Alfie Pavey’s shot was deflected onto the post but Hindle wrapped up the points when he fired into the bottom corner with 18 minutes remaining.
