Manchester United star Alexis Sanchez buys £2.5m mansion in cash as he settles after January move

ALEXIS SANCHEZ has bought a new £2.5million house in cash - complete with plenty of room for his dogs Atom and Humber to run around in.

The Manchester United star has, 29, been training alone at Carrington after missing the Red Devils' flight to their pre-season tour in the United States due to vias problems.

But after his January move from Arsenal, Sanchez has bought the site in Cheshire, which has been under construction, with no finished photos available.

The five-bedroom home features a master bedroom, with walk-in wardrobe, balcony and massive bathroom.

And then there are four guest bedrooms, each en-suite upstairs, in a space that totals 2300-square feet.

Downstairs is a games room, a living room, a dining room, study, a playroom, kitchen diner and a utility room.

There is also a two-car garage and considerable garden.

The plans, that have been released as images from an architect, suggest the work is not quite finished on the property.

Sanchez is a well-known dog lover and has an Instagram account for his two golden retrievers.

And his actress and model girlfriend Mayte Rodriguez will surely be happy in the massive abode, despite the fact that she prefers the sunshine to rainy Lancashire.

The Chilean was embarrassingly denied a visa to enter the United States for United's after being found guilty of defrauding the Spanish government in February during his time at Barcelona.
