BID IN: Liverpool table world record offer for Roma goalkeeper Alisson

Liverpool have tabled a world record bid for AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

The Mirror says Liverpool have made a world record bid of £62million to Roma for Brazil goalkeeper Alisson.

Jurgen Klopp needs a new No 1 because of Loris Karius' disastrous Champions League Final performance and the Reds have been tacking Alisson all summer.

Roma are determined to drive a hard bargain for Alisson after they feel Liverpool shortchanged them over Mohamed Salah last summer and they want over £66m or €75m.

Liverpool's offer is believed to consist of £53m up front with another £9m in add-ons for the 25-year-old.

Roma have yet to say if they will accept Liverpool's offer and talks between the clubs are ongoing.
