Liverpool transfer news: Real Madrid make £133m Mohamed Salah decision after Ronaldo exit

LIVERPOOL could reportedly field interest in Mohamed Salah as Real Madrid look to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
Salah wrote his name into the history books last season by netting 44 goals in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp.
And a disappointing World Cup will have done nothing to reduce expectations on him as Liverpool prepare for the 2018/19 campaign.
Liverpool tied Salah down with a new contract earlier this month which is intended to keep him at Anfield for another five years.
However, Ronaldo's move from Real to Juventus means the La Liga giants are having to consider all possible replacements - including the Egypt international.
According to Italian publication Tutto Mercato Web, Real are not ruling out a swoop for Salah as they seek out their next Galactico signing.
The Italian outlet indicate the £133m-rated (€150m) winger is not Real's No 1 target at present.
It was thought after Salah's renewal with Liverpool that the European champions would look elsewhere.
But they might go after him if other players on their radar prove to be unavailable this summer.
Real's chances of buying Salah are reduced by the fact he does not have a release clause written into his new contract.
Egypt legend Hany Ramzy believes his compatriot should join Real if the opportunity arise though.
"I think he makes history for an Egyptian player and this is very important," Ramzy said. "Also that all the world can see that Egypt has talent.
"And about the question if it is better for Salah to stay at Liverpool or transfer himself to another league, I think all the media are talking about Real Madrid or Barcelona.
"For me, Salah is ready to make this step. For him it's time. It's the right time to transfer or go to Real Madrid, especially I think Real Madrid as the way they play could be a very, very good transfer for Salah, because he makes everything this season with Liverpool.
"He was their best player, he was the top scorer and if he waits until next year maybe he has not [got] the chance [to move]. Maybe he loses his level, maybe he has an injury, we don't hope so.
"But I think at the moment that Salah can go to Real Madrid or Barcelona maybe but I see him in Real Madrid, [being] more comfortable."
