Man City boss Guardiola: I can't judge Zidane reasons

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola can understand Zinedine Zidane's decision to resign as Real Madrid coach.

Guardiola discussed Zidane's departure from Los Blancos and whether there were any similarities with his own Barcelona exit.

"We didn't win three Champions Leagues in a row [when I left] so I'm not the one to judge the reasons," Guardiola said.

"What they have done deserved praise.

"Coaches usually leave clubs due to bad results so it is unusual what he has done.

"Are there similarities between us? In terms of hair, yes, unfortunately for both of us!

"I admire him a lot, he was an idol as a player.

"He leaves in a similar way to Luis Enrique, who won many titles with Barcelona and played spectacular football."
