Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi helped the club seal a top four place in Serie A and clinch a Champions League spot for next season.
The Argentine scored 29 goals in 34 games for the Nerazurri, showing why he has a £98.7 million release clause in his contract.
Icardi has been speculatively linked away from Inter in recent months, and CalcioNews24 linked him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Icardi though sees his future at Inter, although he did not definitively say he was staying, he made it clear he would like to.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb after helping Inter to a 3-2 win at Lazio, Icardi said: "We will have two more months to talk with the club, now I think about celebrating the Champions League return after six years.
"We will talk with the managers, my desire to stay here, I'm first an Inter fan, we'll see what the club what to do. I talk to them, I always look for the best for me. We are well in Milan, my family too."
Icardi is not completely closing the door on a transfer, but he certainly has even more reason to stay now than he did before, and Inter Milan are in a stronger financial position after clinching a top four spot.
If he was to leave, it would only be if a team met his release clause, and that does not seem like Tottenham's style, as they would have to more than double their transfer record.
He was touted for a move to Spurs as a replacement for Harry Kane if he was tempted away, but the England ace appears to have no desire to move on.
In fact it is Kane's suitors Real Madrid who may be the team most likely to challenge Inter to sign Icardi after hitting a dead end with the Spurs striker.
