Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle - Vertonghen fit for Tottenham’s clash against Newcastle

Tottenham will be able to call on Jan Vertonghen for the Premier League visit of Newcastle.
The Belgium defender limped out of Saturday’s defeat at West Brom with a knock but is fit, unlike Eric Dier (illness), Harry Winks and Mousa Dembele (both ankle), who all miss out.
Right-back Serge Aurier is also missing with a hamstring injury as Spurs chase a vital three points in their quest for Champions League qualification.
Midfielder Kenedy is in line to make the final appearance of his loan spell for Newcastle.
The Brazilian is ineligible to play against parent club Chelsea on Sunday, although manager Rafael Benitez is keen to explore a permanent deal.
Striker Islam Slimani, who is suspended for the final two games of the season after being handed a three-match ban last week, has returned to Leicester, while defender Ciaran Clark and winger Christian Atsu are out with knee injuries.
