Cove Rangers and Cowdenbeath draw first leg of play-off

Cove Rangers and Cowdenbeath played out a goalless draw in the first leg of the Scottish League Two play-off final at Inverurie.

Cove won the Highland League for the second time in three years and overcame Lowland League champions Spartans 5-2 on aggregate in the Pyramid play-off final.

Cowdenbeath finished bottom of League Two, eight points adrift of Edinburgh City.

The second leg of the play-off final is at Cowdenbeath’s Central Park on May 12.
