Solihull guaranteed their place in the Vanarama National League next season after beating second-placed Tranmere at Prenton Park.
The visitors only needed a point to secure safety but took all three with a 2-1 win that left them in the relative comfort of 15th with a game to go.
Jamey Osborne put his side in the lead after 32 minutes, Jermaine Hylton with the assist after winning the ball and laying it off, and Alex Reid blasted a fine second shortly after the hour mark.
Tranmere, with a play-off semi-final place already assured, hit back through Devarn Green but could not add a second to nick a share of the spoils.
