Shrewsbury without banned Beckles for Charlton clash
Posted Monday, April 16, 2018 by PA
Shrewsbury will be without the suspended Omar Beckles for Tuesday’s League One visit of Charlton.
The defender was sent off during Saturday’s 0-0 draw at Bradford.
Christos Shelis is among those in contention to replace him.
Beyond long-term absentees Junior Brown and Abumere Ogogo, Shrewsbury otherwise have a fully-fit squad.
Charlton’s Tariqe Fosu and Ahmed Kashi are in contention to start, having made the bench for Saturday’s 1-0 defeat by Scunthorpe.
Each have recovered their fitness after respective groin and foot injuries.
Interim manager Lee Bowyer is expected to consider further changes following successive defeats.
Josh Magennis and Stephy Mavididi are prominent among those competing to start.
