Max Kilman grabbed a last-gasp winner to dent Dover’s play-off hopes as Maidenhead twice came from behind to win 3-2 at York Road.
Alan Massey denied Anthony Jeffrey just before half time before the latter eventually broke the deadlock for Dover four minutes after the restart with a near-post finish.
Jake Hyde levelled three minutes later for Maidenhead when he tapped in Ryan Upward’s flick-on from Sam Barratt long throw, but Manny Parry restored Dover’s lead with a close-range finish on 54 minutes.
Maidenhead equalised once more on the hour-mark when another long Barratt throw caused problems for the visiting defence and Upward tapped in at the far post.
And Kilman snatched maximum points for the hosts when he drove with the ball from the halfway line before unleashing a 25-yard effort which deflected into the top corner in the third minute of stoppage time.
