Dagenham hit back to down Wrexham

Wrexham’s Vanarama National League play-off hopes were dealt another blow as Dagenham came from behind to snatch a 2-1 win.
Defeat leaves the Dragons without a victory in five games but eighth-placed Dover remain two points behind after they lost 3-2 at Maidenhead, although they do have a game in hand.
Wrexham opened the scoring midway through the first half courtesy of Paul Rutherford as he finished Jack Mackreth’s cross for only his second goal of the season.
Dan Sparkes came close to levelling just before the break when he forced Chris Dunn to tip his cross-shot over the bar.
The equaliser did come four minutes after the restart through Fejiri Okenabirhie’s curling effort that went in off a post.
And Dagenham completed their comeback 15 minutes from time as David Raven deflected Michael Cheek’s header into his own goal.
