Hull City vs Sheffield Wed. - Jarrod Bowen back for Hull
Posted Friday, April 13, 2018 by PA
Hull forward Jarrod Bowen is expected to return to contention for the home game against Sheffield Wednesday.
Bowen missed the heavy midweek win at Burton due to a foot problem as boss Nigel Adkins made seven changes to the side which beat QPR at home last weekend.
Striker Abel Hernandez and midfielder Jon Toral could also return to the starting line-up after not featuring on Tuesday night.
Long-term absentees Moses Odubajo, Evandro and James Weir are still out.
Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan remains an injury doubt as his side bid to avoid a third straight defeat.
Bannan missed the midweek defeat at QPR due to a groin strain and will be monitored.
Strikers Lucas Joao and Atdhe Nuhiu, plus defender Daniel Pudil are all doubtful after sustaining knocks on Tuesday night.
Keiren Westwood (groin), Joost van Aken (ankle), Morgan Fox (hamstring), Sam Hutchinson (hernia) and Gary Hooper (hip) are still out.
