Chester substitute Nathan Brown scored a stunning last-minute solo goal to clinch beleaguered Chester only their second win in 17 games – 3-2 at home to Bromley.
The two sides had already shared four goals before the striker ran 40 yards, beating three men, before placing the ball past goalkeeper David Gregory.
On the stroke of half-time, Chester’s Dominic Vose curled in a superb strike after receiving a pass from Craig Mahon. But after the interval, Josh Rees levelled for Bromley.
James Akintunde was on hand to set up the hosts’ second, squaring for substitute Jordan Archer to tap in.
Frankie Sutherland swung in a free-kick for another substitute, Omar Bugiel, to equalise once again, but Brown’s dramatic intervention won it for Chester.
