Bromley see play-off hopes hit by home stalemate

Bromley’s National League play-off hopes suffered a further dent following a goalless draw at home to Gateshead.
Clear-cut chances were few and far between although Bromley keeper David Gregory produced a fine reaction save to deny Lewis McNall in the 12th minute.
A last-ditch clearance from Ben Chorley thwarted Richard Peniket as Gateshead enjoyed a good spell.
Louis Dennis was foiled by Gateshead keeper James Montgomery, who moments later kept out Omar Bugiel’s effort.
Bromley extended their unbeaten home run to five games but have won just once in five while mid-table Gateshead are now without a win in four matches.
