Bayern Munich 'sign' James Rodriguez
According to Spanish paper Marca, James Rodriguez will finally complete his move from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich this summer.
James left the Santiago Bernabeu last summer to move to the Allianz Arena.
The Colombian star agreed to join Bayern in a two-year loan deal with provisions for a permanent deal.
Despite the fact that it's still less than one year into that loan deal, Bayern Munich are ready to sign James. Marca report:
James Rodriguez has impressed so far during his time at Bayern Munich and the Bavarian club's directors have already decided that they will pay the purchase option of 42 million euros which was included in the Colombian's two-year loan deal.
(Bayern will) make the transfer permanent, meaning Real Madrid will have earned over 50m euros from the whole operation.
Sevilla vs Bayern Munich
Sevilla host Bayern Munich at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Tuesday night for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
The two sides have never met before in UEFA competitions. However, Bayern's recent record in Spain is dire. The Bavarians have lost on their last five consecutive trips to Spain.
Bayern progressed to the last eight of the competition following an 8-1 aggregate win over Besiktas in the round of 16.
As for Sevilla, they are in the last eight after beating Man United in the last round.
Juventus vs Real Madrid
In a repeat of last season's Champions League final, Real Madrid take on Juventus in the quarterfinals.
Whilst Cristiano Ronaldo will be looking to move closer towards a record fifth Champions League title, desperate to stop him is legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon – who is going in search of his first Champions League title.
