Ipswich set for second game in 48 hours

Mick McCarthy must prepare his Ipswich side for a second game in 48 hours as in-form Millwall visit Portman Road in the Sky Bet Championship on Easter Monday.
McCarthy admitted it felt surreal still being in charge for Saturday’s loss to Birmingham having been told earlier in the week his contract would not be renewed at the end of the season.
He will now consider whether changes are necessary to try to lift the mood after the loss, although the mid-table Tractor Boys have little left to play for this term.
Strikers David McGoldrick and Joe Garner remain unavailable having been ruled out for the rest of the season with injury.
Millwall go into the game having won seven of their last eight games and four in succession but manager Neil Harris is considering rotating his squad.
Harris has made just one change to his starting line-up in those last eight games but suggested after Friday’s victory over Nottingham Forest that he might need to freshen up the side for Monday.
Midfielder Ben Thompson (ankle) remains an injury concern but forward Aiden O’Brien could be involved more after returning to action as a late substitute against Forest.
Forward Harry Smith is unavailable having been given time off for personal reasons.
