Skipper Jack Baldwin will return to Peterborough’s squad for the derby clash with Northampton.
Defender Baldwin has served a two-game suspension and is likely to come back into the side.
Ryan Tafazolli was substituted during the second half of Friday’s 1-1 draw at Rotherham having been given a final warning by referee Scott Oldham following a 59th-minute booking.
Gwion Edwards and Alex Penny both miss out through injury.
Northampton will once again be without banned midfielder John-Joe O’Toole for the trip.
Gboly Ariyibi came on for Brendan Moloney after 40 minutes of Friday’s 4-0 home defeat to Charlton and it remains to be seen who boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink opts for at the ABAX Stadium.
Hildeberto Pereira and Boris Mathis also came on against the Addicks and will hope to start, while Joe Bunney and Leon Barnett are other options.
Matt Crooks returned from suspension on Friday and is likely to keep his place.
