Ethan Ampadu ruled out for rest of the season with ankle injury
Ampadu picked up an ankle injury injury playing in Chelsea’s 4-2 win over Real Madrid in the UEFA Youth League earlier this month.
The 17-year-old was due to meet up with his Wales team-mates for the China Cup last week but had to withdraw from Ryan Giggs’ squad.
And now the defender, who has made seven senior appearances this season, will miss the rest of the campaign as he steps up his recovery.
Conte said: “Ampadu has an injury and is not available for this season.”

The Chelsea boss has a number of injury concerns at the back, with David Luiz expected to be out for another three weeks with a knee injury.
The Brazilian has not featured for Chelsea since their shock 4-1 defeat to Watford last month.
Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois and Andreas Christensen are both doubts for their crucial game with top-four rivals Tottenham on Sunday.
The pair returned from international duty with Belgium and Denmark respectively early during the break.
When asked who could replace Christensen against Spurs, Conte added: “Luiz is out for at least three weeks.
"He is recovering from a problem with his knee.
"The other option is [Chelsea captain Gary] Cahill. I trust him. We will try to get Christensen back.”
