Scottish Championship leaders St Mirren increased their advantage over second-placed Livingston to 14 points after an emphatic 5-0 win over strugglers Dumbarton.
Lewis Morgan broke the deadlock for the Buddies in the 13th minute when Ryan Flynn stole the ball and found Cammy Smith, who laid it off to the midfielder to curl into the far corner.
Smith added the second shortly after the half-hour mark when he bundled in from close range.
Four minutes after the break, Danny Mullen added the hosts’ third before seeing a good header deflected clear in the 64th minute as St Mirren dominated.
Gavin Reilly grabbed the fourth goal – his 22nd of the season – in the 71st minute before Morgan wrapped up victory with his second of the game five minutes before the final whistle.
