EDEN HAZARD demonstrated how to help heart attack victims - by "saving" his brother Thorgan's life.

Belgium's squad starred in a medical advice video back home.

Both Hazard and Vincent Kompany took lead roles in the public information film.

At the end of the clip, Chelsea star Hazard, 27, brings his younger brother Thorgan, 24, back into "consciousness" by giving him a quick pat on the chest.

The first aid video also sees Kompany, 31, turn from patient to doctor.

The injury-plagued Manchester City captain has seen more than his fair share of treatment rooms and operating theatres in recent seasons.

He and Hazard appear alongside several national team-mates, including Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet and Chelsea No1 Thibaut Courtois.

The players demonstrate on one another and with dummies how to give a heart massage - and even how to use a defibrillator.

At one point Kompany breaks the serious mood by mocking Mignolet, 30, for being asleep.

The duo are on course to meet in City's Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool next month.

Kompany's return to fitness has been just what the doctor ordered for Etihad boss Pep Guardiola.

League Cup winners City have a more-than-healthy lead at the top of the Premier League, and could yet win a Treble.

And Kompany believes City's success under Guardiola is just the start of a dynasty.

He said: "Today we see the first years of what probably they envisaged to do with the club.

"And for me to be a part of the entire process is, I don't know, there's so much value to that.

"You leave a lot of blood, sweat and tears in the process. You want to be there for the good times. So I'm really happy that my body, my mentality, has allowed me to still be here and perform and compete with these guys every single day.

"I enjoy that little bit more because of ten years at the club. Of course."

Meanwhile Courtois' Blues, the reigning champions, must rely on the FA Cup to give their ailing season a shot in the arm.
